MORE INFO—
During the summer of 2017 I had the opportunity to intern with the Richland County Library's artist-in-residence and graphic design professor, Marius Valdes. As the library's artist-in-residence, he was responsible for the design and production of a 50 ft mural that would be apart of the library's renovated children's floor. The mural not only displays illustration work from Valdes, but also work from the community. The wall is made up of over 1,500 bookmarks that were doodled on and then scanned in to make the different panels for the mural. This was such a great opportunity to be apart of and it was my first time working on a project this large in scale.
