Beer packaging design has always intrigued me with the multitude of design styles, so I began a self initiated project to explore design for a fictional brewing company. The name of the company is derived from my last name and as a Murphy, I feel Murphy's law is prevalent in my personal life. I chose the symbol of the horseshoe to incorporate within my design because a rich side up horseshoe is a symbol of good luck, while an upside down horseshoe reverses your luck. Overall, I wanted to keep the design fairly simple with the lettering being the primary focus and have slight color variations between each label to create a cohesive set.
